Our Services, Price List, and Checklist

These prices are effective as of January 1, 2003, and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers.  You may choose only those items you desire.  However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our services.  If any legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you received

We have designed this page so that  you can use this page as a planning checklist by putting a check in the box of services you desire.

SERVICE OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF, $2,000
Our professional service charge includes, but is not limited to, consultation with family and clergy, arrangements and direction desired; preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents; and other services and attendance prior to, during, and following the funeral, including coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory, and others.

EMBALMING, $450
Except in certain cases, law does not require embalming.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.  You may choose an arrangement which does not requires embalming, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.

OTHER PREPARATION OF THE DECEDENT
Cosmetology, dressing and casketing, $75
Restoration, when necessary, $125 and up
Hairdresser, $50
Weave-In, $65
Washing and disinfection when no embalming, $100  

USE OF FACILITIES FOR VIEWING
Visitation, $350
Use of Chapel or portion thereof, per day, $150
Use of Chapel for funeral service, $150
Service in another facility, $150  

OTHER USE OF FACILITIES/EQUIPMENT
Use of office machines, paper goods, flags, flower racks, casket lamps, etc., $125
Shelter of Decedent, per day, $50
Chapel of Memorial Service with Decedent, $165  

MISCELLANEOUS MERCHANDISE
Register Book, $25

Burial Garments, $85 to $300

Cemetery: Cedar Hill Cemetery , $240 per grave space

Opening and closing, @ $85 weekdays to $205 on weekends  

AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT
Transfer of Decedent to mortuary within 25-mile radius, $100
Additional mileage at $2 per mile.  
LIMOUSINE, within 50-mile radius, $250
Additional $85 per hour or fraction thereof if limo waits for repast.
SEDAN , within 50-mile radius, $125 for 1st 3 hours
SERVICE VEHICLE, transport funeral service equipment to cemetery, $150

DIRECT CREMATION, $1650 (without any attendant rites or ceremonies or casket)
Removal of Decedent, $100
Shelter of Decedent, $100
Cremation, $400
Alternative container, $300
Professional services, $750

FORWARDING DECEDENT TO ANOTHER MORTUARY, $1635
This charge includes removal of Decedent, service of staff and embalming.
Removal of Decedent, $100

Receptacle of Decedent, $250
Transportation to Airport, $85
Professional Service and Professional Authorization, $750  

RECEIVING OF DECEDENT FROM ANOTHER MORTUARY, $800
This charge includes temporary shelter of the Decedent, transportation of the Decedent to cemetery or crematory, and required services of staff.  It does not include the services of the staff or the use of facilities for viewing or for the Funeral Ceremony.
